Timeline

1989

Sermatex Grün was founded as Sermatex Consultoria e Comércio Ex Ltda.

1994

The company Sermatex Grün was established, beginning its industrial activities with the manufacturing of electrical components and accessories for use in explosive atmospheres. To achieve this, its products were certified in compliance with INMETRO standards through Cepel.

1998

The company obtained certification for its quality management system in accordance with NBR-ISO 9002:1994 through União Certificadora UC.

2002

Its quality management system certification was updated to comply with NBR-ISO 9001:2000.

2006

The SG-EX-22 control and signaling line and the Photoelectric Relay were certified in compliance with the ATEX Directive through the Physikalisch-Technischen Bundesanstalt (PTB) of Germany.

2009

Its quality management system certification was updated to comply with NBR-ISO 9001:2008. In addition, the company began operations at its new headquarters.

2010

The product line was expanded through the certification of Electronic Ballasts in compliance with INMETRO Ordinance 267 for use in explosive atmospheres.

2015

The SG-EX-22 control and signaling line was certified in compliance with IECEx standards through the Physikalisch-Technischen Bundesanstalt (PTB) of Germany.

2016

The IECEx and ATEX certifications for the SG-EX-22 line were updated through SIRA CSA Group. In addition, the Photoelectric Relay product was certified in compliance with IECEx, CSA/UL standards, and the ATEX Directive through CSA Group.

2017

The SG-EX-22 and SG-EX-26 control and signaling lines were certified in compliance with CSA and UL standards through UL.

2025

The company obtained RETIE certification for the Colombian market for the Control and Signaling Line through UL.

For this reason, we rely on specialized labor, as well as a structured quality management and control system that ensures the high standard of our products. We also have a wide range of measuring instruments and testing equipment, which support both quality assurance and the continuous improvement process of our products.

Currently, our infrastructure consists of specialized internal departments, organized to optimize production processes and enhance the level of control and efficiency.
